They will be on next week, from the 12th to the 14th of May. You can find information at the NAPLAN website, but there are also practice tests online at Smeebu. We’ve been pretty quiet on our blog, but no doubt that will change as the year gets going. Wondering what the title means? That’s the name of our Integrated topic this term, looking at rules and laws.

We’ve got a new Smartboard in the area, so to celebrate, here are some games and learning objects that will expand our understanding of rules and laws… (BTW, you will only be able to view these at school)

Here’s the soccer game, with some rather unusual rules that need to be fixed

A road rules slideshow, or are they laws?

Neighbourhood Charter – where you identify the rules/laws being broken, and try to fix them

Your Charter: the swimming pool – like the Neighbourhood Charter, only at the swimming pool

Your Charter: outside the school – like the Neighbourhood Charter, only outside the school

Take a Vote: make it fair! – looking at voting for a school captain (watch out for unfairness!)
